Of the many attractions of Dancing Bear, one of the most notable is that the Aspen airport is literally minutes away. Arrive and be on the rooftop lounge enjoying the view in minutes. Of course, we’ll collect you upon your arrival and send you comfortably on your way after each visit.
by air
The Aspen Pitkin County Airport is among the best served of all mountain destinations, with frequent direct and one-stop flights to all major North American cities. United, Delta and American Airlines serve Aspen Airport, as well as private charters through Aspen Base Operations.
by car
From Aspen Airport:
Travel east on Highway 82 into downtown Aspen. Highway 82 becomes Main Street. Travel down Main Street to Monarch Street. Turn right on Monarch Street and travel 3-1/2 blocks. Dancing Bear Aspen and the reception entrance are on the right-hand side.
From Glenwood Springs:
Travel southeast on Grand Ave./CO-82 through town and continue toward Aspen for approximately 40 miles. Then follow the directions above from Aspen Airport.
From Denver:
Follow I-70 West to Glenwood Springs. Take Exit 116 toward Aspen. Turn right onto N. River Dr. and follow as it becomes 6th St. Veer right onto Grand Ave./CO-82. Then follow the directions above from Glenwood Springs. During summer months, another scenic route from Denver is I-70 West to 91 South through Leadville to 24 South, then west onto Highway 82 over Independence Pass. (The pass is open only during warm-weather months. We recommend that you call the Colorado Department of Transportation at 303.639.1111 or visit www.cotrip.org to get updated conditions on the pass, as Colorado weather conditions can change quickly.

As an Owner at Dancing Bear Aspen, you will enjoy the luxury of leaving the driving to us. We are happy to take you by shuttle to dining, shopping and activity locales around town. If you opt to rent a car, let us know and we can assist with that as well.
