Come for the Winter, Stay for the Summer

From an exhilarating hike to the top of one of Colorado’s 54 “fourteeners” to a soul soothing yoga retreat, at Dancing Bear Aspen, we can point you in the right direction of any type of summer adventure you seek. Below we’ve listed a few of our favorite summer activities.

Benedict Music Tent
The Benedict Music Tent is a beloved weekend activity for locals and visitors alike. This spectacular music venue has the acoustics of a concert hall and the romance and freshness of an open-air tent. Purchase tickets for seating “under the tent” or bring a picnic and enjoy the music in the cool grass outside.

Maroon Bells
The Maroon Bells are one of the most photographed mountains in all of Colorado – right here in our backyard. Vehicle access is limited so be sure to check with your concierge for information on getting there. If you are an early riser, watching the sun rise here is breathtaking and absolutely photo-worthy!

The Aspen Farmer’s Market

Open from Mid-June until mid-October, the farmer’s market is the perfect venue to mingle among locals and visitors. Colorado-grown produce, crafts and live music are just a few of the delights you will find while perusing the vendors and the scene. What better place to gather a picnic lunch for an afternoon on the lawn at the Benedict Music Tent or on the rooftop at Dancing Bear Aspen. The market makes a U-shape from the corner of Galena Street & Hopkins Avenue, to Hunter Street & back to the intersection of Hyman Avenue & Galena Street.

around town

Up and down the valley, there’s always something for everyone. Because we’re locals just like you, we’ve got an eye out for the best of the best. Take a peek at what’s on the horizon.
