Aspen Snowmass SkiMo Race Series - Aspen Mountain

The three-race Aspen Snowmass SkiMo Race Series returns this year with short courses that include uphill and downhill skiing as well as some bootpacking. Like last year, the first race will take place on Aspen Mountain.

Join in the fun and challenge yourself with friends and against local athletes. This is the perfect opportunity to work on your individual race technique, fine-tune your transitions, enjoy the incredible terrain of Aspen Mountain and/or Aspen Highlands, and savor a well-earned, post-race beer with friends.

2016 Audi Ajax Cup - All Mountains

Benefiting the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club’s 2,300-plus athletes — as well as its scholarships and programs — the Audi Ajax Cup features head-to-head slalom races on the storied run of Little Nell at Aspen Mountain. Cheer on the racers as they navigate the challenging course, and then stick around for one of the hottest après ski parties of the year.

2017 Audi FIS SKI World Cup Finals - Aspen Mountain

Witness one of the most prestigious events on the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup, the 2017 World Cup Finals. The longtime World Cup community was selected by the International Ski Federation for the March 15-19, 2017 races that will bring both the men’s and women’s tour to Aspen. The Finals will be the first outside Europe since 1997 and the return of men’s World Cup in Aspen for first time since 2001.

Astronomy Night with ACES - Space Junk

Aspen Center for Environmental Studies invites you to Hallam Lake this Fall to look up and learn about the night sky! Meteors, comets, asteroids, shooting stars… what are all those things anyway? Come learn about all this space junk that fills our solar system! We might even get a glimpse of the beautiful meteor shower radiating from Draco.
