There will be several opportunities for wine, spirits, and culinary enthusiasts to eat, drink, and help end hunger while enjoying new and signature festival events. One such event is the FOOD & WINE Best New Chefs 25th Anniversary Party presented by Delta, which will feature 500 guests, 28 award-winning chefs, and 13 wineries. Timbers Resorts will also be a sponsor of this special evening, hosting a photo area where guests can pose for party pix and pick a signature Timbers Resorts property photo as the backdrop! For 25 years, FOOD & WINE magazine has discovered the best and brightest cooking talents in the country, bestowing upon them the coveted title of FOOD & WINE Best New Chef. Editor-in-Chief Dana Cowin and Publisher Christina Grdovic will host the event, joined by past honorees and culinary world standouts Daniel Boulud (’88), Tom Colicchio (’91), Andrew Carmellini (’00), Dan Barber (’02), Scott Conant (’04), Mario Carbone (’12), Rich Torrisi (’12) and more.
Other highlights include a dessert lounge overlooking Central Park, an appearance by cookbook author Ali Larter, and a handful of New York’s best pastry chefs.
