“I love the outdoors and feel at home in the mountains” says Jeannette Schulze. Originally from Berlin, Germany, Schulze has spent over two decades in the hospitality industry, including positions as General Manager of RockResorts’ Arrabelle at Vail Square in Vail, Colorado, the Mandarin Oriental in Washington D.C., Miami and London, as well as The Mark, New York. 

She joined RockResorts in 2007 to spearhead the inception of Arrabelle at Vail Square, then Vail’s first new luxury hotel to open in 25 years. In 2009, Conde Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards ranked the Arrabelle the highest ski resort hotel anywhere, #7 in US Mainland Resorts. In her fourteen years with acclaimed Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, she held the positions of Rooms Division Director, Executive Assistant Manager as well as Resident Manager. Her passion for excellence and sincere personalized service led her to our team at Dancing Bear Aspen which she describes as “utterly professional and at the same time warm hearted and genuine”. 

Schulze’s formal education includes Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration and the Academy for Hotel Industry in Berlin, Germany. She is fluent in German and English, and is conversational in Spanish and Russian.
